Impressions from spectacular Jumunjin Fish Market

The Jumunjin Fish Market surpassed my wildest expectations: The countless stalls of small family vendors, offering anything and everything around fish – see for yourself:

  • Lanterns attract fish
  • Every bowl gets fresh seawater
  • Poor guy has to carry his own price tag
  • Horror fish
  • Keeping vendors warm at +1 Celsius
  • Where all the seawater comes from

Most of the fish are still alive, kept fresh by running seawater.
It is obvious how hard-working the fishermen and the vendors are. Down to earth, hands-on people. This is where I would buy my seafood!
