The location is only a three-minute walk from Gangneung Station! The space is spanking clean and quiet. It also conveys some things Westerners are not used to, like sleeping on a floor mattress (it works!) and the shower is without a separate stall, right between the toilet and sink (it’s real water coming out and it doesn’t make a difference. BTW: I have arrived at my airbnb in Seoul and the shower is in the same place. Spoiled Westerners! :-). If you ask your host Chang Jong for something, it will be swiftly done ……and then there is the cozy café in the adjacent building, which also has a photo studio. The café is very tastily furnished, including top photographs; some of them are part of the table tops. The young woman behind the counter has a heart of gold. Where can you walk to latte and cake in your slippers?
