OUR 20TH CENTURY Café in Suwon – their kindness overwhelmed me

Korean café owners need to tweak their business model: I explored this cool café district near Janganmun Gate today, in search for one that offered savoury delights as well. Nothing! So I walked into Our 20th Century and asked the same question: Do you have sandwiches? NO! But the ambiance and friendliness stayed in my head. Soon I found a convenience store and bought a sandwich. It was a chilly day so I thought: Maybe they will let me eat the sandwich with a good cup of theirs. Just as I had this thought and was heading back in their direction, the young lady from earlier approached me outside the café and pointed to sandwich places on her phone she had just searched on my behalf! Yes, of course they would let me have my sandwich at their café. See for yourself the atmosphere:

And the music was exquisite – here is their CD collection and stereo system:

Upon leaving, she pointed out they had a roof terrace – so I went up and took a shot from there. When I went back in I told her how good she was at marketing, she promptly replied that her major was in marketing!!

Last but not least they gave me four colour cards representing their cat-themed brand. Thank you so much, I will never forget this experience!
