One of my best meals ever – on my final day in Korea!

My friend Eunjae’s family took me out to a mind-boggling dinner. While I have been to many Korean restaurants by now, I’ve never experienced Korean fine dining.  It is interesting that our restaurant was located off a freeway, together with several other high-end dining places. We had a choice between two main courses. But that choice only had little impact on what followed: A procession of super tasty and beautifully arranged courses and side dishes, expertly served by attentive waiters.

Eunjae stated that wisely she didn’t eat too much of each course, wanting to leave some space for the courses to follow. The ambiance of the restaurant, and also the Koreans who went there, was an experience in itself. The generosity and hospitality of Eunjae’s family made me feel so good and leaves a lasting impression. Thank you so much!

We can’t wait until we can return their hospitality when they will visit us in Canada. (All photos for this post courtesy of Eunmin)
