6-Nation Korean BBQ

We were just done with our Korean language exam. I was the last of about 60 students to finish and most likely failed the Reading part. They all waited for me until I was done and off we went to have some super-cool fun.

It’s actually 9 nations: One of us has a Columbian, Mexican and American passport, and I have a German and Canadian one.

Vietnam, Texas, Taiwan, Columbia, 2 x Taiwan, Japan and Canada. International understanding or what?!

What we do and why we’re learning Korean is very diverse: Restaurant manager, studying: International Studies/Agriculture, Psychotherapy, Japanese Society. Plus an Internet entrepreneur, business coach, simultaneous translator English/French into Spanish. Most of us are just interested in Korean society and learn Korean for fun. The internet entrepreneur tried to make me wear the lipstick she’s promoting on the web. I told her that wouldn’t be sitting so well with my reputation as a consultant. She did manage to apply some mascara on my right eye lid – the sparkling kind that was hard to clean off. So much fun! I wouldn’t want to miss a minute with my fellow students. PS: My wife just told me that mascara is applied to eye lashes not eye lids 🙂
